There will be a first-ever DLSU International Conference on the Philosophy of Sport and Games, from November 16-17, 2017, De La Salle University – Laguna Campus, Philippines. Below is the program:
Geraldine Go-Bernardo, founder of Sport Management Council of the Philippines (SportPhil), will be one of the speakers, discussing “The What, Why, and How of Sport Governance.”
Ms. Bernardo was a physical therapist by education and businesswoman by profession before pursuing a latent ambition in sports, winning gold in Dragon Boat Racing at the 2005 SEA Games. After stints with the Philippine Olympic Committee and the Philippine Sports Commission, she founded Sportphil, whose mission is to enable innovative and interdisciplinary solutions to sport management challenges.
